- Growth: We strive for personal and spiritual growth, always seeking to deepen our understanding and strengthen our relationship with God.
Our Beliefs
Central to the beliefs of It Is Well Living Church is the belief in the triune nature of God. We affirm the following:
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
1. We believe in the eternal existence of God the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth, who is loving, just, and merciful.
2. We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. Jesus Christ sacrificially died on the cross to redeem humanity from sin and rose from the dead, offering eternal life to all who believe in Him.
3. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the divine presence of God in the world today, who empowers believers, convicts of sin, and guides us in truth.
The Bible
4. We believe in the authority and inspiration of the Bible as the Word of God. The Scriptures contain God's teachings, commandments, and principles that guide our faith and conduct.
Salvation
5. We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received by faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is through His grace that we are reconciled with God, forgiven of our sins, and granted eternal life.
The Church
6. We believe that the Church is not a physical building but a community of believers. It is a place where individuals gather to worship God, encourage one another, and engage in acts of service for the betterment of society.
Sacraments
7. We observe two sacraments: baptism and communion. Baptism symbolizes the believer's identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, while communion commemorates Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and the fellowship of believers.
Heaven and Hell
8. We believe in the reality of heaven, a place of eternal joy and union with God, and hell, a place of eternal separation from God. Our choices in this life determine our destiny in the hereafter.
