Celebrating Holy Week at St. Charles Borromeo Church
Palm Sunday - April 14, 2019
Join us on Palm Sunday as we begin Holy Week with a procession of palm branches, symbolizing the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. Our Masses will be held at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 12:00 PM, followed by a special blessing of the palms.
Chrism Mass - April 16, 2019
On Tuesday of Holy Week, we will celebrate the Chrism Mass at 7:00 PM. This unique liturgy includes the blessing of holy oils that will be used for various sacraments throughout the year. All are welcome to witness this sacred rite.
Holy Thursday - April 18, 2019
Holy Thursday is a day of remembrance and gratitude for the Last Supper, where Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples. Join us at 7:00 PM for the Evening Mass of the Lord's Supper. During this Mass, we will have the washing of the feet, just as Jesus washed the feet of his disciples.
Good Friday - April 19, 2019
Good Friday is a solemn day of reflection on Jesus' crucifixion and death. At St. Charles Borromeo Church, you can participate in the Stations of the Cross at 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM. The liturgy of the Lord's Passion and Death will be held at 3:00 PM, allowing us to contemplate the ultimate sacrifice made for our salvation.
Holy Saturday - April 20, 2019
Holy Saturday is a day of anticipation, waiting for the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ. Join us at 8:00 PM for the Easter Vigil Mass. This beautiful liturgy includes the blessing of the fire, the lighting of the Paschal candle, and the proclamation of the Easter message.
Easter Sunday - April 21, 2019
Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Masses will be held at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 12:00 PM. Join us as we rejoice in the victory of life over death and the hope that Easter brings.
